Reached there around 6.30pm on a Saturday. No queue and we got a table immediately. Have to queue to order the seafoods that you want and cooking method. Food was served pretty well despite the crowds. Can choose to have either nasi lemak or plain rice with your dish. Overall the dishes were good and pretty affordable. Recommended

We went to Ikan Bakar Muara Sg Duyung with the family for an early dinner. I have visited this place many times before as I like the seafood with fresh ingredients. We ordered grilled ikan gerut and tuka (pari), chilli brinjal, sotong celup tepung, ketam masak chili. This time the sotong, brinjal and kankong belacan is too salty.

I have been a favourite patron over 8 years! So much so that I made friends with the owners and until today the service to their favourite customers are top notch! Shoutout to Eddy Putra (one of the owner’s family members) who noticed me in the crowd and realised I’ve been coming frequently. So sweet he shared his mobile and said next time just call and order ahead. Avoid the super long que. Talk about first class treatment My family’s all time favourites include kerang rebus, udang cereal, kailan ikan masin, ayam dada goreng kunyit, sotong tepung. Total cost of my last visit on 3Sep2025 was RM117 for 3 pax. The quality of food is so divine, super fresh and the restaurant is clean! Watch how the boys clean up the tables after the customer leaves. So efficient! This is a hidden gem known mostly to locals. Sedap nak mampus

Another typical ikan bakar seller around Malacca. Not having much says on the food taste, but surely the ikan bakar will be good if they use fresher fish. Order serving typically very fast here, but sometimes will get hiccup during high turnaround time. Parking is super spacious.

Nice spot for ikan bakar and seafood We especially enjoyed the sweet sour fish, sotong, and prawn. Ingredients were fresh and well done. There was a queue to order and we were surprised that the dishes were served right after we ordered! Service was prompt despite it being full house on a Thursday night. Nasi lemak was average imo. Otak2 was also not comparable with the Muar otak… All in all a great spot for group meals. Total bill was RM250 for 5 pax.

incredible dining experience at that restaurant! The combination of fresh seafood and efficient service truly makes for a memorable meal. The fact that you can select the seafood and have it cooked to your preference adds a personal touch that many diners appreciate. The prawns, fish, and clams must have been delightful, but the stingray cooked in banana leaf sounds especially unique and flavorful! It’s great to hear you had such a fantastic time and would recommend it to others. I’ll definitely keep it in mind for future seafood cravings!
